| Instructions | This template is intended for reporting a summary of Due DIliegence pathways 2“sectoral/fishery assessment” or 3 “ingredient manufacturer assessment” under Principle 2. Reporting is at a UoC level and on an annual basis. The UoC should select the pathway used and the type of assessment (whether ingredient manufacturer or plant/marine primary raw material). The UoC enters the date the assessment was conducted. The UoC selects the primary raw material assessed (if applicable). If primary raw material is not lised, the UoC enters the common name and latin name. The UoC selects the risk factor assessed. The UoC selects the country of location (ingredient manufacturer) or production (plant primary raw material). For marine primary raw material, ‘Fishery’ is selected as the Country of location. The UoC selects the FAO fishing area for the marine primary raw material. The UoC enters a summary description of the risk assessment (max 1500 characters). The UoC enters links to any publicly available resources used. The UoC enters a summary description of any measures taken to ensure low risk (for ingredient manufacturer assessment only) (max 1500 characters). The UoC enters a summary description of implemented monitoring program to a) measure the effectiveness of any measure taken to ensure low risk (if applicable) and b) monitor the risk factors, or indicators for the risk factors, to ensure the risk level determined remains valid (max 1500 characters) A new row should be added for each assessment and for each risk factor |

Plant Primary Raw Material | 2025-11-07 | Cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) | Legal | Vietnam | Vietnam’s legal framework on land and forestry (including the Land Law, the Forestry Law, and related decrees) strictly regulates the exploitation, management, and conversion of land use purposes. Therefore, the risk of legal violations in forest management within the former Tan Bien District (now the communes of Tan Lap, Thanh Binh, Tra Vong, and Tan Bien) is considered relatively low. |

Plant Primary Raw Material | 2025-11-07 | Cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) | Environmental | Vietnam | The natural forest area in this region is relatively large, primarily consisting of long-standing protected forests. Recent forest loss signals are mostly temporary or legally approved, showing no trend of conversion to other land uses. Hence, the risk of illegal deforestation in the former Tan Bien District (now Tan Lap, Thanh Binh, Tra Vong, and Tan Bien communes) is assessed as low. |

Plant Primary Raw Material | 2025-11-07 | Cassava (Manihot esculenta Crantz) | Social | Vietnam | In Tay Ninh Province, there is no evidence of forced labor, prison labor, or mass mobilization programs. Local people are primarily smallholder farmers cultivating their own rice fields without hired labor; during the harvest season, only mechanized harvesting services are contracted. The province has an adequate school system and educational facilities, ensuring access to education. Therefore, the social risk in this area is assessed as low. |

Plant Primary Raw Material | 2025-11-04 | Rice (Oryza sativa L.) | Environmental | Vietnam | During the period 2020–2024, An Giang Province recorded virtually no large-scale forest conversion to wet rice cultivation. The area of natural forest is small, and the recorded forest loss is less than 1 hectare per year, mainly due to legal harvesting or temporary fluctuations. Except for one legally approved land conversion case of 75.55 hectares in Vinh Phuoc Commune (now part of Vinh Gia Commune), there is no evidence of forest land-use change in other communes. Therefore, the risk of legal deforestation in An Giang is assessed as low, occurring only locally on a small scale and not affecting the overall provincial risk level. |

Plant Primary Raw Material | 2025-11-05 | Rice (Oryza sativa L.) | Environmental | Vietnam | During the period 2020–2024, data from Global Forest Watch show that the area of natural forest in Can Tho Province is very small, almost nonexistent (only about 2 hectares, accounting for less than 0.1% of the total land area). The rate of forest loss is extremely low (less than 1 hectare), mainly due to temporary fluctuations. According to records from competent state authorities (based on the Land Use Planning Approval Decision of Can Tho Province), there is no forest land in the province. Therefore, the risk of legal deforestation in Can Tho is assessed as virtually nonexistent. |
